United award finalists announced

The finalists in the United category of our annual awards ceremony on 10 November have now been announced! Everyone at Minster Law works together as one team. We respect, encourage and care for each other and work, grow and achieve together. Our United award category aims to recognise those who have made a positive contribution to the business as a whole.

Congratulations to team manager, Alex Melia, who received several nominations for this award. He is described by his peers as someone who goes “over and above” to assist with anything his team needs, and always operates an open desk policy. Always willing to give his advice, he is enthusiastic, approachable and encouraging, which helps significantly with team performance and morale.

Simon Ledgard is an extremely organised project manager who always delivers on time. Easy to work with, he is approachable and is committed to helping out in any way he can in order to facilitate the rest of the team.

Team leader, Kiel Parkins, is passionate and motivating and always drives his team to achieve the best performance they can. His friendly and creative approach always creates high engagement among colleagues too.

Jemma Neal always takes the time and effort to help people out when they are struggling, when they need a bit of support or just a bit of encouragement or advice. According to her colleagues, she is “an absolute diamond” and is perfectly suited to her role as a development coach.

Finally, Deborah Best is “always willing to go the extra mile to help the team”. Whether that’s assisting other people with their work or swapping shifts to allow someone to have the time off that they need, Deborah will always help others first. She’s also 100% committed to her role and to providing outstanding customer service to clients.

Well done and good luck to all of our 2017 nominees!
