What’s more, you’ll be part of a modern and vibrant law firm that specialises in a multitude of legal services and takes its commitment to our clients, partners, colleagues, and community seriously.

The apprenticeships provides school/college leavers, university graduates, or a professional already working in the legal industry, the opportunity to develop the broad range of skills required to become an attentive and effective solicitor. You’ll gain experience in different areas of the business in order to maximise your knowledge across a range of subjects and gain practical experience and commercial skills. Some key skills include:

  • Commercial awareness
  • Communication and customer service
  • Information analysis and research
  • Interviewing and advising
  • Case and transaction management
  • Drafting legal documents
  • Ethics, professionalism, and judgement

The programme allows you the flexibility to focus on one or more of these key areas specifically. You will be encouraged to self-identify areas for your own development and mould your apprenticeship to maximise its benefit.

The training contract at Minster Law gives you exposure to all areas of the business, both legal and on-legal which is so important to help understand how the business operates and the different types of clients we interact with. You are given the opportunity to work with such a fantastic support network and have the opportunity to make your opinion count, and work on projects that have an impact on the industry as a whole, which broadens your commercial awareness as well as training you to be a great solicitor.
