Shirley Woolham is named Hot 100 2026 on The Lawyer

Minster Law is delighted to share that Chief Executive Officer Shirley Woolham has been named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 List for 2026.

Each year, this prestigious list celebrates legal professionals who demonstrate exceptional excellence and relevance. It features a diverse mix of outstanding individuals across all practice areas and career stages in the UK, recognising those who are shaping and elevating the future of the legal profession.

Since joining Minster Law in 2014, Shirley has led the firm to become one of the UK’s leading personal injury practices, championing the rights of claimants, driving meaningful change within the sector and advocating for attracting talent from all backgrounds.

In its profile of Shirley, The Lawyer noted:

Since taking over the running of the PI giant back in 2017/18, Woolham has brought the transformation skills she has in spades to bear. The impact was clearest last year when Minster bounced back into profitability, having endured a rocky period both for the firm and the sector and then successfully grew the business on a diversification strategy.

Reflecting on the recognition, Shirley said:

I am truly honoured to be recognised by The Lawyer. Over the years, the personal injury sector has experienced its fair share of both expected and unexpected change — reshaping business models, processes and ways of working. Yet our purpose at Minster Law remains to support the injured every day and demonstrate the positive impact the personal injury sector can have on people and society.

I am proud of what our team have achieved together, and I would like to thank all colleagues who supported Minster and me in this journey.

Shirley’s recognition in The Hot 100 highlights her commitment to strengthening the personal injury sector and ensuring that Minster Law continues to lead through innovation, service excellence and meaningful societal impact.
