Sophie Crossley

Legal Helpline Advisor
Background

I completed my undergraduate degree in Criminology at Leeds Beckett University. Following this, I joined Minster in 2019 where my initial role specialised in the cost elements of civil procedure claims. I then moved to my current role of Legal Helpline Advisor where I have broadened my legal experience to include specialisms in employment, property, consumer and personal injury by providing legal advice through our legal helpline.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

A large advantage of my current role is the diversity and complexity of each individual call. I enjoy researching and developing my understanding of different legal situations to provide the customer with the best possible advice. Much of the time, the customer calls for help and assistance at a stressful and uncertain time. The role allows me to guide the customer and assist as much as possible which personally provides me with great job satisfaction.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

I enjoy socialising with friends and family, helping at my local sports club, and travelling.

"Sophie was very helpful in dealing with my issues and went above and beyond to clarify certain queries that I raised."
