Saqib Bashir

Senior Serious Injury File Handler
Background

I studied law at the University of Leeds and then went on to the College of Law. Qualifying as a solicitor in 2010, I gained several years of work experience along the way as a paralegal in personal injury litigation, working alongside some very experienced lawyers. I have expertise in all aspects of personal injury, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, public liability, and occupiers’ liability accidents, as well as general civil litigation. I’ve worked in various practices, from large city firms to traditional high street firms, which I find very useful as it has allowed me to work with various clients over the years. I also have the benefit of having worked for the Defendant, which provides me with unique insight and can help me understand the tactics and strategies they use to assist my clients.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

I’ve always wanted to make a real difference to someone who has been seriously injured. I understand the difficulties that clients encounter after their accident and assist them through what can be quite a complex process to secure the most appropriate level of damages and rehabilitation. I pride myself on listening to and understanding clients with empathy. I’m focused on helping my clients achieve the best outcomes by providing great service. At Minster Law, I am fortunate to be working alongside some very experienced and inspiring colleagues.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My many hobbies and interests keep me busy when I am away from work. I also like to travel a lot and aim to visit every major city in the world. I also like to cook, read and keep fit.
