Philip Haigh

Serious Injury File Handler
Background

I have worked for solicitors in litigation for over 35 years. I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1996. My legal career includes 10 years acting for insurance companies in defence of claims but since 2002 I have acted only for claimants. Before joining Minster Law in February 2024, I spent many years working as a Senior Litigator dealing with complex and high value claims and supervising several teams of lawyers. At Minster Law I deal with claims on behalf seriously injured motorcyclists, motorists, passengers, and pedestrians.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

As a personal injury lawyer, I like to feel that I can make a real difference in my clients’ lives, especially when they are going through tough times. This is achieved by not only getting them the justice and compensation they deserve but also by guiding them through the legal process in a caring and supportive way and obtaining rehabilitation services and interim payments for them where appropriate.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy golf, cycling, rowing, walking, reading, and taking my little dog, Basil, on long walks.
