Paul Maxwell

I qualified as a solicitor in 1998 at a Central London firm, and I have always worked in personal injury. My main areas of expertise are serious orthopaedic injury and head injury cases. I am very used to dealing with issues across a range of different types of accidents but most recently, my main area of experience has been motorcycle and motor car accidents.

Although not a biker myself, I have successfully recovered substantial damages for clients across a very broad range of accident circumstances, including cases where recovery prospects were very poor.

1. Paul’s tenacious approach has led on numerous occasions to the recovery of significant six-figure damages for clients in very difficult accident circumstances, including cases involving speeding, pulling out at junctions, and accidents on blind bends.
2. Paul has frequently recovered damages in excess of £500,000 for clients, with particular experience representing those forced to retire early due to their injuries. He has specific experience with injured NHS employees and is familiar with the pension implications in these cases.
3. In one notable case, Paul recovered damages of over £700,000 for a client whose main ongoing symptoms were psychological in nature and which had caused early retirement from the teaching profession.
