I've been a solicitor for more than 30 years and have specialised in helping people injured in accidents for most of that time. I trained and worked in London at the start of my career, and for the last few years I've focused on helping clients with particularly serious injuries including significant orthopaedic or head injuries, and amputations.

1. I secured compensation of more than £3 million for a client who underwent a leg amputation following a collision with a lorry, an outcome that reflected both the severity of his injuries and the lasting impact on every part of his life. The loss of his leg brought significant physical and emotional challenges, requiring extensive rehabilitation and long-term support as he adjusted to life as an amputee. This was a highly complex case, drawing on evidence from eight different expert witnesses to build a full picture of his needs, both now and in the years ahead. I worked to secure a package that funded specialist rehabilitation and ongoing care, alongside advanced prosthetics and provision for his future requirements. The settlement also accounted for the wider effect of his injury on his independence, his ability to work, and his plans for the future.
2. I acted for a teenager who suffered the amputation of two fingers, recovering compensation of more than £375,000 to support his recovery and protect his future. Losing two fingers at such a young age presented real physical and emotional challenges, and called for rehabilitation and ongoing support as he adapted. I worked to secure a settlement that provided for specialist treatment and rehabilitation, alongside funding for the longer-term support he would need as he grew older.
3. I also have experience of dealing with asbestos disease cases and sexual abuse claims.
