Emma Carr

Senior Serious Injury File Handler
Background

I began my career with Minster Law in 2004, starting as a paralegal straight from law college. I completed my training contract and qualified as a solicitor in 2009, working in various departments including the bike team and technical claims specialising in road traffic accidents. I moved into the serious injury team and left the firm in 2019 to pursue other areas of law. I rejoined in 2024 as a senior solicitor in the serious injury department dealing with cases with valuations of between £50,000 and £150,000.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

Being involved in a road traffic accident can be a very upsetting and stressful time, I want to make the process easier for my clients, providing the best possible service and achieving the right outcome for them. I am passionate about supporting my clients through this difficult time in their lives.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

I love spending time with my family when I am not working, dog walks are a big part of that with our young labrador. I also enjoy going to the gym and yoga sessions.
