Recite Me: Looking Back Over One Year - Agnetha Wescott, Customer Experience Manager at Minster Law

To celebrate tomorrow’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day (15 May 2025), we’re looking back on the first year of Recite Me’s Accessibility toolbar on our digital products.

As part of our commitment on accessibility in 2023/24, we conducted comprehensive assessments across our digital offerings to understand where we could improve.

We have an extensive help and advice centre covering guides, a glossary and FAQS, and we wanted to ensure that every customer could access this support in a way that suits them, extending beyond the practicalities of self-serve information.

In May 2024, we introduced Recite Me’s toolbar on our website and customer portal, INK, to provide customers and potential colleagues the ability to adjust our websites to suit their own needs. On average, 1,311 INK customers use Recite Me per month. Top features have included the text-to-speech function and translation options.

In its first year, the toolbar has supported Minster Law customers in translating content into 20 different languages, and over 35,000 pages across our website and portal have been viewed using the Recite Me toolbar.

“We’re so pleased with the Recite Me toolbar, how it’s been able to support our users, and we’ve had some fantastic feedback. The insights provided have helped guide us in improving our more traditional communications over the last year as well as supporting our work to achieve Disability Confident Employer Level 2. We’re looking forward to the next year and continuing to improve our customer journey, ensuring access to legal support for all.” Agnetha Wescott, Customer Experience Manager.
