We are delighted to announce that Jane Brodie has joined the Minster Law family as our new People Director.

Jane has spent her entire working life in human resources and people development – starting her early career with Saint-Gobain Quartz, Npower and Sage before joining Smith & Nephew to support their global manufacturing transformation strategy. In 2017, Jane joined Equifax, supporting their UK and Ireland strategy alongside their wider, global digital transformation. Jane’s passion is in culture, inclusion, engagement, and leadership. She fundamentally believes that people are the true difference in a successful organisation and how the organisation develops capabilities and allows colleagues to be their true authentic selves is the key to driving high performance.

On joining Minster, Jane said: “Minster Law has a formidable reputation for investing in and developing their colleagues to be the best that they can be. The business has a strong history of delivering innovation and exceptional client outcomes in a challenging sector and the Minster colleague base is the most crucial element of that delivery. I am excited to be joining an organisation that is open to thinking differently about who they are and how we can provide a nurturing and supportive environment that will allow us to attract and retain the best talent.”

“The business has gone from strength to strength since the introduction of reforms – most recently announcing a 5-year deal with the AA. With 20% colleague growth in their serious injury division, a significant increase in our share of the Bike PI market and our wider technology-led transformation, there has never been a more important time to protect and continue to develop our colleague and customer culture that is so pivotal to our continued success.”

Jane added: “I have worked across a range of industry sectors in my career from manufacturing, high technology and financial services and I continue to find people fascinating – that will never change. I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to Minster Law to help support the delivery of their growth strategy and people agenda. It is important to me to work in an organisation that truly values its colleagues, where I can make a real difference to the culture and encourage a sense of belonging for everyone that works at Minster Law.”

“I am fully aligned to Minster’s vision and really excited to be playing a leading role in ensuring we have a diverse pool of talent, who are passionate about driving exceptional client outcomes whilst encouraging those colleagues to be their authentic selves at work. Every colleague matters and all can make a real difference to the success of our business.”

Shirley Woolham, CEO said: “I am delighted that Jane has chosen to join Minster Law as People Director. Jane brings significant HR and leadership skills to the business, developed throughout her 20-year career in high-value, forward-thinking organisations. Her skills and experience are an ideal fit for Minster Law. We hold ourselves to a very high-standard when it comes to our people agenda, no more evident than in our recent Platinum reaccreditation from Investors in People. In leading our fantastic People Team, Jane will be pivotal in helping us to continue this journey and in shaping and developing all aspect of our colleague proposition.”
