Background
My interest in law started from a young age; my first work experience placement in a Solicitor’s firm was at age 14. I graduated from the University of Surrey with a 2:1 in Law with International Studies and thereafter completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) in 2015. I later further qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2020. My Serious Injury career started in 2017, working for a Defendant firm for over 4 years. Working for insurers has given me commercial awareness and an in-depth knowledge of how a Defendant lawyer thinks, which I use to my advantage in assisting Claimants. I moved over to a Claimant firm in 2021 and haven’t looked back. My experience has included a wide spectrum of injuries including traumatic brain, spinal and amputation, as well as multiple musculoskeletal. I have experience in assisting clients with chronic pain and functional disorders resulting from their injuries.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I am committed to not only securing compensation on behalf of my clients, but to help them achieve the best recovery they can. I utilise knowledgeable third parties including case managers and experts and push to avoid any delay in rehabilitation. I have an interest in new technologies and how they can help my clients and will ensure I understand every clients’ individual needs to obtain the best outcome for them. I do my best to ease the burden from my clients at a horrific time in their lives. Although it is never possible to turn back the clock, I am committed in my role to helping my clients achieve a future they can look forward to.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I enjoy keeping active, including walking my dog Storm and weightlifting. I have recently purchased an inflatable kayak which I take out as often as I can, weather depending! I am also part of a local Stoolball club and a book group.
