A small group discussion taking place in a bright indoor setting, with several people seated in a circle facing one another. One participant is seated with their back to the camera at the centre of the image, while others are positioned around the group. The room is softly lit with natural light from large windows in the background. Casual seating and neutral-toned clothing contribute to an informal meeting environment. The image conveys a collaborative discussion, peer support session, or workshop focused on communication and shared experiences.
Connections to charities who understand

We connect clients with charity partners including the Spinal Injuries Association, Headway, the Brain Injury Group and SURF, for first-hand, lived-experience advice.

Support that goes beyond the legal claim

Counselling and emotional support for you and your family, practical advice if your relationship changes, and welfare advice, signposted alongside your case, so it’s not left for you to find alone.

Supporting the services that care for you

We raised over £100,000 last year for services that seriously injured people rely on, including Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Samaritans, and Pinderfields’ Spinal Injury Unit.

A serious injury affects more than the legal claim

Your relationships, your wellbeing, your day-to-day life. We help connect you to support that goes beyond the case itself.

A legal claim is only one part of the picture. Alongside your case, we point you towards a wider network of support, from organisations that can help with the practical side of life after injury to people who understand exactly what you’re going through. We work with your case manager so you’re connected with the right support at the right time.

Support for every part of life

Depending on your needs, we can point you towards:

  • Counselling and psychological support
  • Emotional support for your partner and family
  • Welfare and benefits advice
  • Tax, wealth management and wills guidance
Charities who understand

Some of the most valuable support doesn’t come from a legal team, it comes from people who’ve been through something similar. We always put clients in touch with charities including the Spinal Injuries Association, Headway, the Brain Injury Group and SURF, who offer first-hand, lived-experience advice that we can’t offer ourselves.

When we do this depends on your injury and where you are in your recovery. For some clients, it’s while they’re still in hospital. For others, it’s once they’re home and ready. We’ll work with your case manager to make sure it happens at a time that’s right for you.

Supporting the services that support you

Many of the people we help will have been cared for by services like Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Samaritans, or Pinderfields’ Spinal Injury Unit. That’s why we support them too, alongside Day One Trauma Support, Back Up Trust, Sheffield Children’s Hospital and FareShare Yorkshire, raising over £100,000 last year through volunteering and fundraising. It’s one more way we stay connected to the people and places that make recovery possible.
