Matthew Nash

Associate
Background
I have dedicated over 20 years of my career to supporting clients rebuild their lives, after sustaining life-changing injuries after serious accidents.

I understand that making a personal injury claim is rarely just about compensation. It is often about securing answers, support, rehabilitation, financial security and peace of mind at what is often one of the most difficult periods a person and their family will ever face.

Throughout my career, I have specialised in representing clients who have sustained complex and serious injuries from road traffic accidents. I have successfully represented clients in a wide range of cases, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic injury, amputation, chronic pain, and fatal accidents.

I believe the best outcomes come from truly understanding how an injury has affected someone’s day to day life, their family and often their career. I take the time to listen carefully to my clients, explain the legal process clearly and make sure they feel supported and informed throughout.

I pride myself on straight forward, committed and down-to-earth approach. I am passionate about achieving the very best outcome for my clients. Whether resolving a claim through negotiation or preparing a case for litigation, I work tirelessly to protect my clients’ interests and secure the resources they need for the future.

What motivates me the most is knowing that the work I do can make a genuine difference to my clients’ quality of life. Helping clients regain independence, stability and confidence after serious injury is something I never taken for granted.

He secured an early interim payment to relieve financial pressure on the client and his young family, implemented a private rehabilitation package which aided recovery and return to work, and negotiated a lump sum settlement ensuring lasting financial security.
  3. Matthew secured damages of £1.6 million net of contributory negligence for a client who sustained a below-elbow amputation. Liability was initially strongly contested, but through robust investigation Matthew secured an admission. Interim payments funded rehabilitation and advanced prosthetic provision, with the claim resolved at a Joint Settlement Meeting.
  4. Matthew represented a client who sustained a serious spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis affecting all four limbs. From an early stage, he obtained substantial interim payments funding a private care package, long-term rehabilitation, adapted accommodation and specialist equipment, which was critical to his client making the best possible recovery.
