Adam Chaffe

Serious Injury Associate
Background

During the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Manchester, I opted to study personal injury and have continued to dedicate my legal practise to helping injured claimants secure compensation ever since. I have a wide range of experience and exposure across the serious and catastrophic injury spectrum having worked at boutique, regional and city firms. From time to time, I am instructed on cases where clients have been let down by other legal firms; in these situations, I have been able to expediently get these cases back on track to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

It is a privilege to work at Minster Law within a very knowledgeable, capable, and committed team of lawyers. I am a Grade A Associate Solicitor with a passion and focus that remains within serious and catastrophic injury cases. I care about my clients and take pride in my work. Also, I enjoy training and developing paralegal colleagues. I employ a pragmatic approach to achieving success for clients, being collaborative with defendant representatives when beneficial to my clients in order to obtain early rehabilitation and interim payments. However, I have a decent track record of maximising negotiated settlements through clear and compelling argument without the need to go to trial. I believe the foundation for any successful claim is to build a collaborative partnership with clients, engage with the defendant representative at an early stage and ensure the best suited medical experts and counsel are instructed. Experiencing a serious or catastrophic injury is life changing; I recognise that clients need support, patience, and proactivity from their solicitor to help rebuild their lives and to secure their future. I make myself available to provide the best service I can to each and every client.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

I am a competitive Judo dan grade and also enjoy coaching children at the weekend. I gain a great deal of satisfaction in seeing those children flourish in confidence and develop friendships on the mats. At home I spend time with my wife, children and our crazy but very handsome standard poodle.
