I have legal cover on my home/car insurance policy – will it cover my personal injury legal fees if I win?

Close

Possibly – and it’s something we can investigate for you on your behalf. Many car and home insurance policies include legal cover, either as standard or as something you pay extra for, and if yours includes ‘before the event legal expenses’, it should cover some or even all of the costs of your claim.

How much will I pay in legal fees if I win my case?

Close

How much you’ll pay in fees depends on many things and your appointed solicitor is best placed to advise you on this. It all depends on the specifics of your individual case.

How do solicitors get paid their money?

Close

When you contact us to talk about your specific personal injury claim, we’ll explain to you how the funding for your case will work. It’s not a secret – but it can get complicated, and it’s not the kind of thing we can cover off on a ‘one size fits all’ overview.

Are there any terms and conditions to your Conditional Fee Agreement that I need to know about?

Close

Yes – and when you contact us, we’ll make sure you’re fully aware of them before you instruct us to proceed. The main one is that you need to comply with our advice to qualify for the service, but we’ll talk to you about it when we understand your case in more detail.

What does ‘Conditional Fee Agreement’ mean?

Close

Provided you keep to the terms and conditions of the agreement, if we don’t win your case, you don’t pay any legal fees.

There are strict rules in place regulating how we manage cases. These are designed to protect you, and your solicitor will give you a realistic, honest assessment of your chances of success – you can be assured that we will give you fair and impartial advice.
