Shauni Pollard

Personal Injury Executive
Background
I work within the Serious Injury Team and have a wealth of experience in all aspects of injury, having worked exclusively for personal injury claimants for over 15 years.

I am friendly and down-to-earth, and I pride myself on giving clear and easy-to-understand advice without the legal jargon.

I understand how devastating and life-changing serious injuries can be and the impact they have on not only yourself but those around you too. This is why I will work as hard as I can to get you the help you require and deserve.

Rehabilitation is a key part of how I work; I always aim to secure early funding for private rehabilitation to allow you to maximise your recovery and get your life back on track. It may also be possible to seek interim payments to ease any financial pressures, which is one less thing to worry about during the claims process.

I enjoy building good relationships with my clients as well as working relationships with external parties to get the best results possible for you.
Case Experience
  1. Shauni secured a £65,000 settlement under the MIB’s Untraced Drivers Agreement for a retired pedestrian hit by an e-scooter who sustained a fractured humerus and psychological trauma. After extensive treatment including shoulder replacement and revision surgery, her client was able to begin enjoying her retirement.
  2. Shauni secured damages in excess of £92,000 for a client who suffered multiple fractures and soft tissue injuries in a motorcycle accident. Liability was initially unclear, but Shauni obtained a forensic collision investigation report which led to a primary admission of liability and settlement.
  3. Shauni worked alongside a lead associate to secure a £1.6 million settlement at a Joint Settlement Meeting for a client who sustained unsalvageable fractures to his tibia and femur in a motorcycle accident necessitating above-knee amputation, together with other upper limb injuries. The team put together an extensive rehabilitation package including prosthetics to allow the client to return to hobbies he had enjoyed before the accident.
  4. Shauni worked alongside a lead associate to represent a client who suffered multiple injuries in a motorcycle accident including a subdural haemorrhage, right eye nerve damage and multiple fractures. After a significant hospital stay and neurorehabilitation, the team secured a sizeable interim payment to allow the client to purchase a suitable property and focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
