Background
I bring nearly two decades of specialist experience in personal injury law, with a career dedicated to supporting people whose lives have been profoundly affected by serious accidents. I began my journey with Minster Law in 2007 and quickly progressed through several roles, gaining extensive hands‑on experience in motorbike, car, and complex road traffic claims. My early career involved negotiating liability, valuing claims, managing disputes, and issuing court proceedings - skills that now form the foundation of my expertise in serious injury work. I’ve handled a wide range of cases including bicycle, pedestrian, fatal accident and criminal injury claims, as well as pre‑litigation Scottish matters. I qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and went on to lead a team of trainee fee earners, mentoring junior colleagues while managing my own varied caseload. I’m now focused on higher‑value and serious injury work. I run my own RTA, employers’ liability and public liability cases, and have played a key supporting role on catastrophic injury claims. I’ve spent almost three years working closely with the firm’s Partner specialising in multi‑million‑pound brain injury cases - experience that has equipped me with deep insight into the long‑term impact of life‑changing injuries and the rehabilitation needs of clients and their families. My calm, compassionate approach ensures clients feel supported during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. I have a wealth of technical knowledge, combined with a dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes, which means clients can be confident their case is in safe and highly capable hands.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I enjoy speaking to our clients, listening to the impact an accident has had on them and their family, finding ways to minimise the impact and push their claims to a successful conclusion. I am conscious that we often enter a client’s life at one of the most stressful and traumatic times of their life and there is great satisfaction in being able to help alleviate some of that burden for them and their loved ones.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
In my spare time I like to bake (meringues and chocolate courgette cake are my specialities). I enjoy driving. I grew up on a farm and, as a teenager, first learned to drive tractors. I also like reading, gardening and walking my dog.
