I studied Law at Oxford University before taking up a position as a trainee solicitor at the Manchester branch a nationwide firm of union solicitors. I remained there after qualification before deciding to specialise in personal injuries arising from road traffic accidents. I worked at a number of North West firms in this field, eventually becoming a partner. I joined Minster Law in June 2014 and have worked across a variety of departments in both operational and technical roles. At present I provide technical and supervisory support within the Serious Injury Department and assist the business’s Technical Compliance team.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I want to help all my colleagues be the best lawyers they can be, not only technically but also by helping to enhance their strategic skills and empathy.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I’m a fair weather cyclist, voracious reader and fiercely competitive quizzer. I’m also a sucker for a board game or two.
