Shona Kennedy

File handler

I started my career in law 10 years ago as a Legal Assistant. Throughout that time, I have worked in many departments throughout Minster Law. I have worked in the Multi-Track Department as a Paralegal Assistant, assisting an Associate Solicitor dealing with catastrophic injuries. I am currently working within the Bike Claims Team and have been for the past two years.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

I am very passionate about client care. My focus is ensuring that the client is put back into the position they were prior to the accident. It is key that I communicate with all the appropriate third parties to ensure that the case is settled within a timely manner whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service to achieve the best outcome for the client. I thrive off customer satisfaction and the feedback that I receive from the clients is what motivates me.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

In my spare time I enjoy running, exercising, and socialising with friends. I am also a part of the telephone befriending service at Age UK. I am hoping to do more volunteer work over the next few years as I believe that this is a great way to give back to the community.
