Rebecca Watmough

Starting out as a paralegal in 1999 at the UK’s largest full-service law firm, I gained experience in all aspects of uninsured loss recovery / personal injury litigation. I also commenced my legal studies, qualifying as a Legal Executive (FILEX) in 2005. After 8 years with that firm, I moved in order to gain valuable experience as Lead Advisor to a busy team where I remained for a period of two years until I qualified as a solicitor in 2009. I then secured a position at a nationwide law firm where I was quickly promoted to Associate in the Complex Injuries Team. I remained with that firm for 11 years until sadly being made redundant during the Covid-19 pandemic. Shortly thereafter, I was delighted to be offered my current role at Minster Law where I started my employment in January 2021. The role particularly appealed to me knowing that I would be working solely with seriously injured clients and their families.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

I am conscientious, client-focussed and driven, with a reputation for getting the job done. I strive to deliver an exceptional level of service in order to achieve the best possible outcome for each and every client. The core values of Minster Law (Stand Together, Be Courageous, Find a Way) really resonate with me and I am delighted to be part of the UK’s largest serious injury team.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

I have two young children who keep me very busy! I enjoy fresh air, delicious food, pilates and holidays in the sunshine.

"Excellent service. Rebecca was professional from start to finish. I was made to feel like a person and not just a number. Thanks to recent my experience, especially Rebecca I would not hesitate in recommending Minsterlaw solicitors to anyone requiring legal services."
