I completed a law degree from the University of Central Lancashire and completed the LPC (Legal Practice Course) at Northumbria University. I started working in the legal industry in 2011 and started at Minster Law in 2012. In my time here, alongside my normal job, I applied to CILEX and completed a portfolio of work to qualify as a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives before becoming dual qualified as a solicitor in 2018. I have specialised in road traffic accidents personal injury, specifically motorbike accidents, for the last 5 years and this remains my passion.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I am most passionate about helping people, whether that be clients, or members of staff running cases. Having the opportunity to specialise in motorbike accidents and seeing first-hand the impact an accident can have has made me more passionate about ensuring vulnerable road users get the compensation that they rightly deserve, but more importantly getting them back on a bike so that they can continue their passion of riding bikes.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I’m an avid tennis player and play for my local team in a weekly mixed doubles league throughout summer. I am a keen follower of all sports (thankfully so is my wife) so I balance that with spending as much time with my children as possible and seeing them grow up (far too quickly!)
