I commenced my legal career in 2001 as a paralegal in a leading criminal law practice working in the Major Crime Department. I thereafter transitioned to civil litigation with a ‘Legal 100’ firm where I went on to undertake my training contract and qualify as a Solicitor in 2008. I have worked in personal injury since 2002 and represented both Claimant and Defendant clients, to include large national companies and insurers. I have a specialist interest in claims arising from accidents at work or public liability. I have recently been appointed to sit as a Magistrate.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I believe in achieving the best outcomes for my Clients by maintaining high standards of client care and providing honest and client focused advice. I enjoy taking on challenging or difficult claims to help resolve an issue which requires ‘thinking outside of the box’.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I am a keen astrophotograper, taking photographs of deep sky objects from my observatory in Yorkshire. I also engage in kite boarding and enjoy laser engraving/design.
