I started my legal career with Minster Law in January 2012 in technical claims and over the last 9 years I have grown with the company moving across to Serious Injury in 2013 where I have worked in several Serious Injury roles on claims of all value including multi million pound instructions. Minster Law invested in me to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive and a solicitor in 2015.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
Our people and our clients. During my time as a file handler, I enjoyed getting the best outcomes for clients and making a real difference to their future, following a traumatic accident. I now lead a team within the Serious Injury department where I am able to support and grow our people in their roles as they deliver excellent service and provide fantastic results for our clients. We are dedicated to the continuous development of our colleagues who in turn achieve great results for our clients, that’s what I am passionate about. We value retention of the fantastic talent we have here at Minster Law, which means our clients benefit from instructing some of the best Personal Injury lawyers in the country. As a manager I am also involved in the operational running of the department to ensure we maintain an excellent level of service and that our business is running smoothly to facilitate our customer first approach which is at the heart of what we do.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
As a working mum of 2 amazing girls, family life is at the centre of everything I do, whether it is helping with homework, joining in arts and craft or getting messy in the kitchen. I’m also an active supporter of my local school and when I do get a moment to myself, I’ll be on the yoga mat!
