I joined the legal department of a Yorkshire utility in 1992 dealing with all different types of claims ranging from employers liability claims including industrial disease and public liability claims such as trips and slips and road traffic accident claims. In my later years with them I dealt with a number of high value utility apparatus damage claims. In 2001, I joined the claims department of a nationwide insurers and was seconded to their in house Solicitors team within a year. Within this role, I managed my own team of litigation claims handers, as well as my own portfolio of high value personal injury claims. In 2010, I joined Minster Law as a Senior Litigation Executive in this Serious Injury team dealing with high value and complex claims on behalf of their clients.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
The clients that I deal with have often been involved in major road traffic accidents and have sustained complex and life changing injuries. I am passionate about getting the best results for my clients, not only in relation to settlement achieved, but also ensuring they receive the best rehabilitation and legal advice possible. Having been at Minister Law for over 10 years, I have seen the firm evolve and I am fortunate to now work with some of the most knowledgeable and exceptional group of colleagues who constantly strive for the best results for their clients.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I am a lover of football, but my playing days are pretty much behind me now. I now leave this to my children who I now cheer on from the side. I enjoy spending time with my family and in the summer months I play golf as often as can.
"huge thank you for everything James Little and the team at Minster Law have done for me over the last 7 years. my case wasn’t straightforward however they were nothing but professional and thorough, keeping me updated every step of the way. James showed me great kindness, empathy and reassurance and I believe it was down to him that we achieved the best possible outcome with my settlement. Who knows what the future might hold for me but I’m going in optimistic."
