Background
I have worked exclusively for claimants since 1995. I specialise in catastrophic personal injury claims of the utmost severity. The majority of my clients have incurred traumatic brain injuries as well as other severe orthopaedic injuries. I represent clients that do not have capacity to handle their own affairs and deal with deputies authorised by the Court of Protection. I have previously been a committee member for the South Wales United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum which I represented at Parliament. I am currently a member of the training and accreditation committee for the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
To assist my clients and their families in getting rehabilitation, care packages and suitable accommodation at an early stage after they leave their rehabilitation unit. This allows my clients to concentrate on getting the services they need to obtain the next possible outcome from their injury.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a level 2 football coach and referee. I follow Southampton Football Club and enjoy live music and stand-up comedy.
