I first started in legal practice in 1999 at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors where I stayed for over 13 years before moving to Minster Law in 2013. My roles at Minster Law have been varied and this has allowed me to really broaden my skillset and expertise. I have enjoyed roles in both management and case handling which culminated in specialising in Employment Law.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I am passionate about ensuring my clients have the access to justice they deserve and the support to get the right outcome for their case. I genuinely want to help and have a real interest in issues that affect families and individuals personally. Employment disputes can be incredibly stressful and upsetting. I feel proud that I can help and support my clients at a time when they need it the most.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
Family is incredibly important to me and I try to spend as much quality time with my own family as I possibly can. We like to cycle, swim and snuggling up to watch a good film on a rainy day. I extend my support to other families and children as a Magistrate in the Family Court where I sit on the North and West Yorkshire Bench.
