In 2000 I started working for a claims handling firm, who were handling claims by former mine workers for various industrial disease. I worked on Vibration White Finger cases. In October 2002 I then moved to work for a Claimant Solicitor firm firstly handling their mine worker claims, but then working on general industrial disease claims. I have remained working for Claimant Solicitor firms and my area of practice, until joining Minster Law, was industrial disease. I dealt with a broad range of disease cases including industrial deafness, vibration white finger, work related stress and asbestos related disease. This work gave me a good grounding to work for Minster Law in the Serious Injury team as there are a number of issues which overlap between the work types. I have worked at Minster since March 2020.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
The effects of being seriously injured can be devastating. I strive to achieve the best outcome for my clients. I assist them on their road to recovery and ultimately get the appropriate level of compensation of the injuries that they have sustained in order to put their life back together.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I have 2 young children, so I spend as much time with them as possible. This leaves little time for anything else.
