Road traffic accident compensation claims
Am I entitled to make a claim for personal injury suffered as a result of a road traffic accident?
To ensure that we at Minster Law are able to pursue a personal injury claim on your behalf for a road traffic accident, you need to be able to answer yes to the following questions:
- Were you injured within the last 3 years in England or Wales?
- Was someone else at fault for the accident?
- Have you sought medical treatment for your injury?
- Is this your first attempt to try and claim?
- Do you have details of the other party involved (this could be the company who own the carpark you tripped over in, or the name and address of the shop in which you slipped)?
If you can answer yes to the above, or are unsure about any of the answers, request a call back from one of our specialist advisors or call us on 0800 032 8103.
I was a passenger in a road traffic accident. Can I still make a compensation claim for the personal injury I suffered?
If you have received an injury in the last 3 years as a result of a road accident in which you were a passenger in a car, van, bus or motorcycle, or as a pedestrian, you may be entitled to make a personal injury claim.

The accident I was involved in was caused by a friend/family member. Can I still claim?
Yes. In this situation, the claim for compensation will be made against the driver’s insurance policy, not the driver themselves.
