Minster Law isn't just about lawyers.
We have a number of non-legal departments who are just as important in the successful functioning of our business as our legal services and contact centre teams.
Often, Support roles provide a jumping-off point for team members to kick start a career in legal services and vice versa.
We are always on the lookout for talented and motivated people to work in the following non-legal teams:

Finance
The Finance department consists of three teams who work together to provide a support function to the business.
The Legal Cashiering team deal with all client and office related payments - ranging from settlement cheques to raising our bill of costs. They also look after all business related expenditure and deal with expenses claims.
The Management Accounting team prepare monthly management accounts and collate critical information on how the company is performing. They also prepare the annual budget plan.
The Payroll team are responsible for the important task of ensuring that our employees are paid every month! They also deal with all salary and benefits payments.
Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC)
Business risks both internal and external can prevent the achievement of Minster Law's business objectives. ARC provides assurance that risks are managed to achieve these business objectives by the following functions:
'Audit' provides assurance that internal controls to mitigate business risks are both appropriate and effective in reducing risks to an acceptable level.
'Compliance' manages compliance risk by providing advice and guidance to the business on all regulatory rules and principles e.g. referrals, contracts, conflicts of interest, treating customers fairly, money laundering and data protection. There is also a dedicated complaints team to manage customer complaints on a timely and efficient basis.
'Risk Management supports and facilitates management in identifying, measuring and monitoring risks in the business, which then drives the annual risk based audit plans
